Gentle had a farm in Africa, like that English chic in the movie. He tilled it, then he sold it, and now he directs a nonprofit. They hold fundraisers for liberal senators and selectmen. The guests are selected at random, by combing through the phonebook. Interns do that. Gentle never leaves his office, and he refuses to hire an administrative assistant (he doesn’t trust himself) so he ends up working a lot of overtime on mundane tasks. He ends up playing Tetrus online with losers in other countries.
